FESTIVE MINTS 
1 (16 oz.) powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 tbsp. evaporated milk
4 to 5 drops of Peppermint flavoring
Few drops of desired food coloring

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Beat at high speed of electric mixer until blended, then knead until smooth. Put in candy mold, cover with paper towel and put on baking sheet. Cover with another paper towel, let stand overnight to harden. Next day, cut as you like. Makes 8 1/2 to 9 dozen.
