1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks, one at a time
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 tsp. vanilla
Chocolate kisses

Mix ingredients in order given, excluding chocolate. Shape in 1 inch balls and press kiss in center of cookie. Bake at 375 degree oven for 10-13 minutes. Makes 3 1/2 to 4 dozen cookies. This recipe does not call for baking powder or soda. It is not a mistake.
