BEEF TOMATO CASSEROLE 
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 c. thinly sliced strips of cooked beef
1 1/2 c. thinly sliced strips green peppers
3-4 tbsp. salad oil
1 clove minced garlic
3 tomatoes, peeled & cut in wedges
1/2 c. beef bouillon or consomme

Combine cornstarch, salt, pepper and soy sauce, dredge beef in mixture and set aside. Saute green peppers in oil. Remove peppers, add garlic and beef and saute 2 to 3 minutes. Add peppers, tomatoes and bouillon. Cook until sauce is thickened, about 5 minutes. Serve over crisp noodles in casserole. Garnish with twisted lemon peel, if desired. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
