“CROCK-POT APPLE BUTTER” IS IN:
NEXT RECIPE:  FAUX KFC POT PIE

CROCK-POT APPLE BUTTER 
enough apples to fill the Crock-Pot (I use either Macintosh or Jonathan or a combination)
2 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves

Wash and quarter apples. Remove cores and seeds. Put ingredients on top of apples in the Crock-Pot. Let stand overnight.

The next morning cook on HIGH for 4 hours. Put through a food mill to remove skins.

Makes 3 1/2 pints.
