RICH FOOD PROCESSOR PASTRY
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 cup cold butter, cut into chunks
1/4 cup ice water

In a metal cup, add 1 cup water with ice in it, and set aside. Cut butter into chunks and put in ice water for 10 minutes.

Measure the flour and the salt into the food processor bowl. Add butter and pulse (switch on/off rapidly) until butter mixture is the consistency of coarse bread crumbs.

While the motor is on, pour 1/4 cup of ice water through feed tube until dough forms a ball; if dough is soft, add a tablespoon or so of flour and process for a few seconds more.

Roll out dough on a piece of parchment paper or silicone bakers mat that has been lightly dusted with flour. Loosely line the pie dish.

Use in any recipe calling for a double 8 or 9-inch pie.
