EASY KRINGLE 
1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1 c. sour cream
Fruit preserves
Chopped pecans

Cut shortening into flour until mixture resembles small peas. Blend in sour cream. Refrigerate overnight. Divide dough into 4 parts. Roll into rectangle 4 x 10 inches. Spread with fruit preserves, solo filling, nuts, sugar, cinnamon, or butter pats down the center lengthwise. Fold long edges together. Place on greased sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool. Frost with milk and powdered sugar mixed to spreading consistency.
