CARAMEL APPLES 
14 oz. pkg. (49) caramels
2 tbsp. water
4-5 med. apples
4-5 wooden sticks

In top of double boiler or saucepan, combine caramels and water. Cook until melted, stirring occasionally. Insert wooden stick into stem end of each apple. Keep caramel mixture over low heat. Dip apples into caramel mixture, turning to coat. Scrape off excess caramel when removing apple from pan. Place on greased waxed paper and chill until set.
