DAWN'S SALAD DRESSING | |
6 cloves garlic, crushed 1 c. peanut oil (or safflower oil) Mix garlic and oil in a jar with a lid. Let stand for a day to allow garlic to marinate in the oil. Does not have to be refrigerated and will keep up to 5 days. To prepare salad, use half Romaine and half iceberg lettuce, torn into pieces. Add chopped onion or scallion to taste. Top with 3 tablespoons of grated locatelli cheese and dressing to taste. |
