WARM VANILLA PUDDING 
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 slightly beaten egg yolks
2 tbsp. butter (butter)
1 tsp. vanilla

In pan, blend sugar, cornstarch and salt; add milk and cook; stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and add small amount hot mixture to egg mixture. Add to pan and stir until bubbly (I use a hand mixer). Remove from heat. Add vanilla and butter. Serve hot or chilled.
