RUSSIA - RUSSIAN TEA CAKES | |
1 c. soft butter 1/2 c. sifted XXX sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. sifted flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. chopped nuts Chill dough. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place 2 1/2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until set, but not brown. While still warm, roll in XXX sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes. |
