HOT FUDGE CHOCOLATE CAKE II 
2 c. sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

In a mixing bowl, mix flour and sugar; set aside. Combine water, oil, butter and cocoa in a saucepan and bring to a rapid boil. Remove from heat, stir well and pour into flour and sugar mixture. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes or until done. Pour into a well greased 134 x 9 x 2 inch pan. After cake has been frosted and cooled, cover pan tightly with foil.

HOT FUDGE FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter; add milk and cocoa; stir well. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix well. Pour over hot cake while warm.
