COWBOY BEANS | |
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck 1/2 lb. bacon, diced 1 large onion, chopped 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. mustard 1 large can pork and beans 1 can navy beans 1 can pinto beans 1 can Great Northern beans 1 can lima beans 1 bottle Bull's-Eye barbecue sauce Cook ground chuck, bacon and onion until meat loses color and onions are tender. Drain fat. Drain liquid from all beans except pork and beans. Combine beans, meat and onion mixture and barbecue sauce. Add more barbecue sauce if needed. Put in crock-pot for 2 to 3 hours on low heat. You may also bake in a low oven, 200°F to 250°F for a couple of hours. |
