VEGETABLE RICE MEDLEY 
2 c. assorted vegetables, fresh or frozen, chopped or sliced
1 3/4 c. water
2 tsp. chicken broth granules
1 tsp. onion flakes
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 c. instant rice
2 tbsp. butter

Saute vegetables in butter until tender but crisp. Add spices, water and chicken broth granules. Bring to boil, stirring to dissolve granules. Add instant rice, cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 - 8 minutes, stir and serve.
