Basic Salad Dressing
1/2 tbsp. horseradish
3-4 strips bacon
Bunch of spinach
Parmesan cheese

1. Make basic salad dressing with horseradish and extra anchovy paste.

1. Fry bacon and drain.

3. Wash and turn stems of spinach. Drain thoroughly.

4. Saute spinach until just wilted, pour dressing over spinach.

5. Serve with bacon crumbled on top and sprinkled with cheese.

May be served as a salad.

BASIC SALAD DRESSING:

1/2 lg. fresh lemon
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
3 tbsp. olive oil
6 anchovy fillets or paste
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. wine vinegar
Dash Tabasco

For use on Caesar salad break an egg over salad after lettuce has been tossed with dressing.
