HARVEST LOAF 
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. canned pumpkin
3/4 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter. Gradually add sugar and mix well. Blend in eggs and beat well. At low speed, add dry ingredients alternating with pumpkin beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake in loaf pan (9 x 5) at 350 degrees for 65 to 75 minutes. Cool and slice.
