SWEDISH COFFEE CAKE | |
1/2 lb. butter 2 eggs 1 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. sour cream 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. walnut pieces 2 tbsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp. sugar Beat together at high speed the butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Add sour cream and beat 1 minute. Add 2 cups flour, baking powder, soda and continue beating at high speed. Grease 2 small loaf pans. Divide batter between loaf pans. Mix together walnuts, cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar. Sprinkle over batter. Bake 300 degrees for 45 minutes or a little longer if necessary. |
