GRANDMA'S SUGAR COOKIE 
2 c. white sugar
1 c. sour cream
1 c. butter
2 eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar, sour cream, butter and eggs. Add vanilla. Mix in small amounts of dry ingredients, mix until blended well. Chill overnight in bowl with tight cover.

Roll out till 1/4-inch thick. Cut out with different shape cookie cutters if desired. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown on bottoms.

NOTE: This makes a great cookie at Christmas time. Cut into Christmas shapes, brush with egg white to make sugars stick.
