UNCOOKED STRAWBERRY JAM 
2 c. or 1 lb. strawberries
1 box Sure-Jell
4 c. or 1 3/4 lb. sugar

Crush fully ripe berries; stir in the sugar. Measure 3/4 cup water and Sure-Jell into small pan. Bring to boil and boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add fruit and sugar, stirring to dissolve sugar, 3 minutes. Ladle into glasses or freezer jars; cover and let stand 24 hours. Store in freezer.
