SAVORY STUFFED STEAK ROLL 
3 lbs. flanks steak
4 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. shredded sweet potato
1 c. coarsely sliced celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground savory
6 bread, toasted, cut in 1/4 inch cubes
1 c. water
2 tbsp. flour

Ingredient amounts calculated from a recipe which serves 4 people. Seasonings and liquid amounts may be more than needed for 8 servings.

Microwave butter at High 1 minute. Stir in sweet potato, celery and onion; cover and cook at High 4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Sprinkle salt and savory over vegetables. Add bread cubes, mixing lightly; let stand 5 minutes. Place stuffing lengthwise down center of steak.

Bring long sides up to overlap on top, enclosing stuffing. Fasten with string by lacing around picks down length of roll; tie securely. Place laced side up in a large, flat dish; add water, cover with plastic wrap, venting one corner. Cook at Medium 15 minutes, rotate dish 1/4 turn every 5 minutes. Remove wrap, invert steak roll, cook at Medium 10 minutes, turn roll 5 minutes. Let stand.
