2 eggs
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 c. milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. butter

Mix together all ingredients in top of double boiler. Cook over boiling water until thick. Pour into a baked pie shell and top with meringue or whipped topping.
