I finally found this recipe! YEARS ago (like, 25?) I found and made this recipe. The entire extended family LOVED it and wanted the recipe. I refused, saying I wanted it to be my special one. Boy, did I eat my words: I lost it! I found it just today and ran out to buy the ingredients. It's still as wonderful as I recall!

One quick warning: it is VERY rich. Slice thinly, and serve with vanilla (bean?) ice cream, and let the compliments come rolling in. (Just understand there will be no requests for seconds, b/c it IS really rich.)
