COCOA NUT CREAM PIE 
2/3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. coconut

Mix first four ingredients in saucepan. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Remove from heat, gradually stir at least half of hot mixture into 3 egg yolks slightly beaten. Add to rest of mixture in saucepan. Boil 1 minute more. Blend in the vanilla and coconut. Pour into a 9 inch baked crust. Top with meringue and coconut. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
