CHUNKY CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
12 slices day old bread
4 c. diced cooked chicken
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs, beaten
3 c. milk
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Cut 2 slices of bread into 1/2 cubes. Trim crusts from remaining bread, cut in cubes. Spread in 9 x 13 inch pan.

Combine chicken, onion, celery, mayonnaise and salt. Spread over bread cubes. Arrange remaining bread over chicken mixture. Combine eggs and milk. Pour over all. Cover. Chill 1 hour or overnight. Spoon soup over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Sprinkle cheese over top for last 5 minutes of baking time.
