DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 (24 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (4 c.)
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. softened butter (2 sticks)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed firmly
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs

Melt over hot (not boiling) water, 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Cool to room temperature. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and set aside. Mix butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract, beat until creamy.

Add melted chocolate and eggs, beat until light and fluffy. Slowly add in flour mixture. Stir in remaining 2 1/2 cups chocolate chips.

Drop by rounded tablespoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 minutes in preheated 375 degree oven.
