DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 lg. pkg. semi sweet chocolate chips
1 c. shortening
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Melt 1 cup chips, cream shortening, sugar, eggs. Add melted chips and vanilla, beat with mixer 1 minute. Add dry ingredients and mix well, stir in remaining chips. Bake 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
