BLACKBERRY JAM CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 sticks (1/2 lb.) butter
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 level tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
3 c. flour
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. blackberry jam

Mix all ingredients and bake in three 9 inch layer cake pans for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. (Cake will be heavy.)
