ARKANSAS BLACKBERRY JAM CAKE 
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. raisins
1 c. butter
1 c. blackberry jam (may substitute grape)

Cream butter and sugar. Add dry ingredients alternately with jam, buttermilk, beating until smooth after each addition. Fold in raisins and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
