SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. halved pecans
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In saucepan melt the 1/4 cup of butter, then combine the syrup and sugar with the butter. Add eggs and pecans to the syrup mixture. Mix well. Pour into unbaked 9 inch pie shell. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Serves 6.
