SOUTHERN CHESS PIE (PECAN PIE) 
Pastry for 8 inch one crust pie, unbaked
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. flour
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. pecans, chopped, grated or whole

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix together sugars and flour. Beat in thoroughly eggs, milk, vanilla, butter. When well blended, fold in nuts. Pour into pastry lined pan. Bake 40 to 50 minutes. Serve slightly warm for finest taste. But may be served cold. Add whipped cream for garnish.
