SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup (Karo)
1/4 c. butter, melted
3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. pecans
1 unbaked 9" pie shell

Mix sugar, syrup and butter. Add eggs and pecans. Fill unbaked pie shell with mix and bake in moderate oven, 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for 30 to 35 minutes.
