SOUTHERN BARBEQUED RIBS 
2 lbs. spareribs, cut into serving size pieces
1 sm. onion, sliced
1/2 c. hot water
1 bay leaf
1 c. barbecue sauce
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. soy sauce

In 3 quart casserole, combine ribs, onion, water, and bay leaf. Cover. Micro wave at power level 5 for 30 to 40 minutes or until ribs are tender; turning over and rearranging after 1/2 time. Drain. Remove and discard bay leaf. In small bowl, blend remaining ingredients. Pour over ribs, microwave at power level 5 for about 10 minutes or until sauce is heated through.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
