I've used a variation of this recipe for years...my family loves it....O would never considered putting a cooked cranberry dish on the table. SO easy and so good!

This recipe has been used in my family for over 100 years. I remember making it at my grandmothers home, using a hand cranked meat grinder, when I was a young boy. Sugar is optional - just add enough to kill the bitterness. Use a food grinder - like a meat grinder, as the crushing and cutting action produces a very different consistency than the slicing blades of a food processor. Use small holed disk at front of grinder. Frozen berries seem to work best. Enjoy!

I grew up with this recipe. BEST there is! Food processor gives a less appealing texture & look than meat grinder; grinder is wonderful texture & "classy" look. :) The 1 difference in recipe; we put in an entire orange - quartered. :) CANNOT GO WRONG with this. HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!!
