FRENCH CINNAMON PUFFS | |
1/3 c. shortening (part butter) 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 c. milk Cream sugar and shortening. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk. Fill well-greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake until golden brown in 350 degree oven 15 minutes for small muffin tins or 20 to 25 minutes for medium tins. Roll immediately in 6 teaspoons melted butter, then in 1/2 cup sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Serve warm. |
