SPECIAL K BARS 
1 c. white corn syrup
1 c. sugar
1 c. peanut butter
6 c. Special K cereal (or Rice Krispies)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 (6 oz.) caramel or butterscotch chips

Use greased cookie sheet. Bring corn syrup and sugar to a rolling boil. Add peanut butter and stir until dissolved. Add Special K cereal (or Rice Krispies). Spread on cookie sheet. (A large metal spoon, dipped in cold water helps in the spreading.) Melt together chocolate chips and caramel or butterscotch chips. Spread on top of warm bars. Cool in refrigerator. Store in cool place.
