LELA MC ATEE'S HAM LOAF SURPRISE | |
1 1/2 lbs. smoked ham 1 1/2 lbs. fresh pork tenderloin 1 c. fine bread crumbs 1 c. milk 1/2 c. white vinegar 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. ground mustard 1 egg NOTE: Mix vinegar and mustard separately, then add to ham loaf. Have butcher grind meat together. Mix vinegar and dry mustard together, then add to meat mixture along with all other ingredients. Bake for 2-2 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Glaze with ketchup and brown sugar mixture. This is a hit for company because it serves many and is enjoyed. Can be made up ahead of time to avoid last minute work. |
