POTATO CASSEROLE 
2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. grated cheese
1/2 c. corn flakes

Thaw potatoes in 9 x 13 baking pan. Mix with other ingredients. Top with 1/2 cup crushed corn flakes and 1/4 cup melted butter.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.

Corn flakes are important as they absorb the extra oil that bakes to the top.
