CORNBREAD OR MUFFINS 
3 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. cornmeal

Cream eggs, sugar and shortening together. Add buttermilk, soda, baking powder and salt. Add flour and cornmeal. Pour into greased 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

If baking in greased muffin tins, bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes; remove from muffin tins while hot. Dip top in melted butter, then into a mixture of 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
