(semi-sweet) chocolate chips 3/4 cake paraffin wax Mix first 5 ingredients together in order given until thoroughly mixed. Chill dough about 30 minutes. Shape into small balls. Chill again if dough is sticky. Melt chocolate and paraffin in top of double boiler. Using toothpick in balls, dip each ball into chocolate. Place on wax paper to harden. Keep chocolate thin and reheat if it becomes too thick. Makes 100 pieces or more. Note: Wax will catch on fire if it is melted directly over heat. Be sure to melt it over water in a double boiler. Variations: Use drained chopped cherries in place of pecans and coconut. |
