COTTAGE CHEESE RING 
2 pkgs. Knox gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
1/2 c. hot water
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. sm. curd cottage cheese
1 1/2 c. Cool Whip

Mix in order given. Fold in Cool Whip or substitute whipped cream. Chill until firm. Can be filled with fresh cut up fruit or fruit fluff.
