FRIED CABBAGE 
1 medium or small cabbage
4 bacon strips
1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup chopped yellow onions
1 tbsp. butter

Cut up cabbage and set to the side (wash in clear warm water and drain). Cut strips of bacon in small pieces and place in large skillet. Fry on medium heat until fully cooked on both sides. Do not drain!

Add cabbage, salt, onion, red pepper flakes and butter. Stir until well mixed. Cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes on simmer. Do not over cook!
