LACY COOKIE ROLLS 
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. minced nuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease cookie sheet. Combine sugar, butter and corn syrup in top of double boiler. Stir over direct medium heat until well blended. Remove from heat and mix in flour and nuts; place over boiling water to keep batter warm while working.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet, leaving 1 inch between cookies. Bake 10-12 minutes until brown. Loosen cookies one at a time and roll around any clean round surface (such as the handle of wooden spoon) until firm.
