2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (10 oz.) pkg. marshmallows
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate pieces
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
1 cup chopped walnuts

Melt butter over low heat. Add water, salt and marshmallows; stir frequently as marshmallows are melting. When mixture comes to a boil, cook 1-2 minutes.

Remove from heat; add chocolate, stirring until melted. Add vanilla and peppermint flavoring; beat until thick. Add nuts and mix well.

Pour into greased pan and cool; cut into pieces.
