COUNTRY FRIED STEAK 
4 cube steaks
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
24 crackers
1/4 c. oil
Johnny's seasoning

Crush crackers with rolling pin. Mix egg and milk. Dip steaks in eggs. Sprinkle with Johnny's seasoning. Cover both sides with crushed crackers. Brown steaks in hot oil then simmer on low for 40 minutes (covered).

Country Gravy:

1 beef bouillon cube
1 can mushroom soup
onion flakes to taste (usually a couple of pinches)
rosemary to taste (usually a couple of pinches)
tarragon leaves to taste (usually a couple of pinches)
sour cream (optional)
1 c. milk
1/4 c. flour

Bring water, bouillon and spices to a boil for about 3 minutes. Add mushroom soup and 1 can of milk. Mix 1 cup of milk and 1/4 cup flour. Add to mixture to thicken. Add sour cream (optional). Serve over steaks and fried potatoes.
