GRANNY'S POUND CAKE 
1 lb. butter, at room temperature
3 c. sugar
10 eggs
3 c. sifted plain flour

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs alternately with flour, beating well after each addition. Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Makes a very large cake.
