TOFU SPAGHETTI SAUCE | |
1 lb. tofu, mashed well with a fork 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce 1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes 1 bay leaf, 1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning or 1/2 tsp. each oregano, basil and thyme 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. beef flavored bouillon 1/2 to 1 c. sliced mushrooms 1 lg. onion, chopped 4 lg. cloves garlic, minced 2 tbsp. olive oil Saute' chopped onion and minced garlic in 2 tablespoons olive oil for about 5 minutes. Add all the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 30 minutes. Stir frequently. |
