CRANBERRY - APPLE PIE | |
1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. grated orange peel 1/2 c. honey 1 tbsp. butter 3 c. fresh cranberries 2 c. diced, peeled apples Pastry for 2 crust 9 inch pie Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, orange peel, honey, and butter. Cook 2 minutes, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add cranberries and apples; boil 5 minutes or until cranberries burst. Cool. Pour into pastry lined 9 inch pie pan. Cover and bake at 425 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. |
