SCALLOPED POTATOES 
4 1/2 c. sliced potatoes
1/2 c. sliced onions
Salt & pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. med. white sauce

WHITE SAUCE:

1 1/2 to 2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk

Make white sauce by melting butter and add flour to butter. Add salt and milk and stir over medium heat until thickened. Grease baking dish and place a layer of potatoes and onions and sauce. Repeat using all the ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
