SCALLOPED POTATO GRANDE 
2 lbs. hash browns, thawed
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 pt. sour cream
2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1/2 c. melted butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
Pepper to taste
1/2 c. corn flakes

Mix all together and place in long Pyrex dish. Cover with 1/2 cup melted butter, mixed with 1/2 cup corn flakes, crumbled for topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 10 to 15.

Variation: It also tastes great with 2 cups of leftover diced ham added.
