EGG NOG BREAD 
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 beaten egg
1 3/4 cups egg nog
1/2 cup cooking oil
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup golden raisins

GLAZE:

1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 or 3 tsp. egg nog

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Combine egg, eggnog and oil. Add to dry ingredients. Stir in nuts and raisins. Turn into 4x5x3-inch greased loaf pan.

Bake at 350°F for 60 to 70 minutes. Cover with foil after 30 minutes if it browns too fast.

Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove bread from pan. Cool on wire rack. Wrap bread, store overnight.

To serve, stir together powdered sugar and enough egg nog to drizzle consistency. Drizzle over bread (16 servings).

Makes a great Christmas time bread.
