2 whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts 4 thin slices of baked ham 4 thin slices of Swiss or Provolone cheese 1 c. bread crumbs Bearnaise sauce or gravy Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut chicken in half to make 4 large pieces. Rinse chicken. Roll moist chicken in bread crumbs. Lay chicken out flat. Place 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese on top of each chicken. Fold in half. Hold with toothpicks. Place in square baking dish. Sprinkle with additional bread crumbs. Bake 45 minutes or until done. Do not over bake. Chicken will be dry. Serve with sauce or gravy. |
